Adoration is a quiet time spent in prayer before Jesus present in the Eucharist. A Consecrated Host is placed in the center of a sacred vessel called a Monstrance. The word Monstrance means "to show."
The Monstrance is then set in a very special place for all to see and worship Jesus present body, blood, soul and divinity in the Consecrated Host or "Blessed Sacrament."
At The Church of St. Maximilian Kolbe, all parishioners are encouraged to take an hour with the Lord, and anyone is welcome to come and pray at any hour.
The Adoration Chapel is located at 401 River Street North, Delano, Minnesota
Hours Open: Sunday 12:00 pm through Saturday 4:00 pm
Between the hours of 6:00 am - 8:00 pm, an elevator entrance is also available. Beyond these hours, the elevator is closed and the chapel doors require a code to enter; to learn the code, please call the church office at 763.972.2077.
