Ministry Group Guidelines
Ministry Group Guidelines

At The Church of St. Maximilian Kolbe, we are proud to offer a variety of ministry groups.

In order to have a common understanding of expectations and help facilitate communication and coordination between the groups and church staff, guidelines have been developed.

All groups are asked to review and adhere to the guidelines. If you have any questions, please contact our church office at 763.972.2077 x 101 or by email at cath@stmaxkolbechurch.org.

Thank you for your involvement.

The Right of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a process through which interested adults are gradually introduced to the Roman Catholic Faith and way of life. It includes several stages marked by study, prayer and rites at Mass.

Participants undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. The RCIA process follows the ancient practice of receiving new members into the Church and was restored by the Second Vatican Council as the normal way adults prepare for baptism. It’s also been adapted to include men and woman already baptized who desire full membership in the Church.

For more information about RCIA, contact Andrew Zeisel at 763-972-2077, andrew@stmaxkolbechurch.org
