Ministry Group Guidelines
Ministry Group Guidelines

At The Church of St. Maximilian Kolbe, we are proud to offer a variety of ministry groups.

In order to have a common understanding of expectations and help facilitate communication and coordination between the groups and church staff, guidelines have been developed.

All groups are asked to review and adhere to the guidelines. If you have any questions, please contact our church office at 763.972.2077 x 101 or by email at cath@stmaxkolbechurch.org.

Thank you for your involvement.

Directory of Ministries and Organizations

The prayerful support of our church is available for parishioners, their families, and our

community members who are in need in several different ways.

PRAYER CHAIN

Our prayer chain consists of a network of people who pray for requests submitted by callers.  All prayer requests are kept confidential.  To initiate prayers from our Prayer Line, please contact:  Barb Janas (763-972-6843), Pat Kempenich (763-972-3607) or Renae Schleisman (763-972-2213) to initiate prayers from our parish Prayer Line.

PRAYER TEAM

The purpose of the Prayer Ministry Team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church.  Prayer ministers pray with individuals who request prayer support, maintaining confidence in all matters.  Prayer teams consist of 2 or 3 lay people who gather in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.  Praying over each other is an excellent way to affirm each other's faith as a community, to let the Holy Spirit heal our hurts and to open our eyes to being thankful for the truth and love in every situation that we experience.  At present, prayer ministry is available upon request by calling the parish office at 763-972-2077.

UNBOUND - ARCHDIOCESAN PRAYER MINISTRY

The Archdiocesan Prayer Ministry is a ministry of healing in which a trained prayer team prays with individuals to assist them in overcoming the spiritual obstacles they encounter in their path of Christian descipleship and take hold of greater freedom in Christ.  This ministry uses the Keys of the Unbound model of prayer developed by Heart of the Father MInistries (heartofthefather.com) and is under the guidance of Fr. Kowalczyk.  Individuals who come for Unbound prayer share their personal story related to the area where they sense they need freedom and are led by the prayer team through a series of prayers based on the Keys of Unbound.  To learn more about this ministry, contact Shannon W. at 763-607-1907 or at swinte8@gmail.com.    A brochure is included here for your review.  Archdiocesan Healing Ministry brochure
