This weekend, we welcome Father Bill Vos as he celebrates Mass with us and represents the Mission Appeal assigned to our faith community by the Archdiocesan Center for Mission.
Father Vos, a priest of the St. Cloud Diocese, served in mission with the Maryknoll Lay Missioners (MKLM) for almost 20 years in Eastern Africa. During this time he served in leadership of MKLM and chaired their Board of Directors.
Maryknoll Lay Missioners is the largest Catholic lay mission sending organization from our US Church. These committed men, women and families serve globally in Latin America, Asia and Africa in health care, education, pastoral work and grass roots development. Moreover these missioners serve for a minimum of 3 ½ years, and many continue in mission for virtually their entire adult lives. To learn more about Maryknoll Lay Missioners, click here.
Please welcome Fr Vos and come prepared to generously support these missioners who represent us in carrying out the mission of Jesus “to the ends of the earth”.
