New Faces on Campus

Posted on July 14, 2021 in: General News

We welcome a few new people to our parish team!

Autumn Burke, Bulletin Editor

Autumn, her husband Tim, and their daughter Alayana joined our parish 3 years ago after moving to Delano in 2016; they came to us from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Mound where they were members as of Autumn's 2015 conversion. Autumn is experienced in advertising and marketing and is excited to be a part of the parish staff to help promote the parish's communications, involvements, and events. The Burkes value faith, family, and fellowship, which they feel they have been blessed with in joining the Church of St. Maximilian Kolbe.  They enjoy being involved with both the school and the church whenever possible. Tim is currently on the Pastoral Council and Alayna is enrolled to begin the 1st grade here at St. Max where she is looking forward to meeting her new teacher.

Andrew Zeisel, Director of Discipleship & Mission

After discerning out of seminary, Andrew Zeisel became a faith formation director and youth minister in rural northeast Iowa, later moving to Minnesota to marry his wife Sherry. He most recently was the Director of RCIA, Faith Formation Leader, and middle school religion teacher at St. Timothy in Maple Lake. They currently live in Montrose, and have one son (Benedikt - 2 years old) with another on the way in November.  In his free time, Andrew enjoys ultimate frisbee, staying in touch with his German and Polish roots, and growing in his knowledge of the great traditions of the Church.

Jeromy Darling, Youth & Evangelization Coordinator

Jeromy is an actor and songwriter, currently living with his wife of almost 19 years, Gretchen, and their 4 children (Wyatt - 11, Wilder - 8, Wren - 4 and Charlize - 16 months) in Savage, MN. He entered the Catholic Church 2.5 years ago, having been raised in a non-denominational, Christ-fearing family and credits Fr. Kowalczyk with helping to catechize and form his faith along the way.
