Catholic Order of Foresters' Minnesota Agency is excited to present His Name is Michael, an original musical by Jeromy Darling!

Loosely based on the exploits of the larger-than-life Catholic priest Father Patrick Manogue, His Name is Michael explores the intersection of the natural and supernatural, set in Virginia City, Nevada, circa 1867. Shortly after the mining bonanza that turned Virginia City into the most important industrial city between Denver and San Francisco, Father Manogue — the only priest in Nevada — would quickly develop a reputation as “Wyatt Earp with a collar,” striking fear into the hearts of disreputable men and drawing respect, admiration, and love from everyone he helped. His Name is Michael seeks to answer a question: What is your name?

There will be eight performances of His Name is Michael at Open Window Theatre in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, on July 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17
